Car Picnics

One of the bright spots to come out of this stretch of having to stay at home is that restaurants have really had to adjust the way they do things and make take-out/curbside pick-up a much more efficient process. It's been a goal of ours to support local restaurants and try places that were new to us, and it's been nice to be able to get out of the house while still social distancing and severely limiting interactions with other people!

We've enjoyed many picnics in the car over the past several months, and frankly, since it's just the two of us, I greatly prefer this to being in a restaurant. To be fair, it's actually three of us, and maybe that's what I love most about it...Ginny being able to hang out with us in the backseat! We eat, she looks out the window, and everyone is happy! I suspect whenever things do return to normal, we'll continue these car picnics because they've really been one of the best parts of the year for us!
