A Long Lunch

Today I had a five-plus hour lunch with five women I absolutely adore and I was reminded how incredible it is to find people who get you and who accept you despite your quirks and eccentricities. While zoom and texting has kept us "together" over the past year and a half, being in the same physical space after so long was wonderful! They are kind and hilarious and I never, ever, ever feel judged in their company, which is a rare and precious gift! I once read something about friendship and how it's better to have four quarters instead of one hundred pennies and I couldn't agree more!
