It was the sixth Disney ship we've been on, and it has the same layout/floor plan as the fleet's fifth ship, the Disney Wish, which we've been on twice. It was my tenth Disney Cruise, and C's ninth (my mom and I took a cruise together in 2017, which is why I'm ahead by one!), but only our second seven-night cruise!
We left right after school on Friday to drive to Florida in not-so-great weather and lots of traffic, but in a crazy, wonderful coincidence, we stopped for gas and snacks at Buc-ee's in Florence, SC, and ran into our best friends and godkids, who were also on their way to Florida! What a happy surprise! We stopped in Jacksonville to sleep before continuing on to Port Canaveral early on Saturday morning, and arrived around 11:00. We checked in and went through security, and then waited in the terminal until boarding just after 12:00.

We absolutely loved our room! As I mentioned, the Treasure has the same layout as the Wish, and we had room 11511 on the Wish back in May 2023. When we booked this cruise, we knew we wanted to book the same room, and we were elated when we were able to! As you can see from the floor plan, the room doesn't share any walls with any other guest rooms, and it's down a little hallway, so there was no foot traffic in front of our room, either! So perfect! The theme for our room was Finding Nemo and the artwork above the bed was beautiful!
The atrium of the ship, which they call the Grand Hall, was themed after Aladdin, with the statue being Jasmine and Aladdin on the Magic Carpet, as well as other cute nods to the movie like the tile work, lanterns, and rugs!
The ship itself is gorgeous, with beautiful spaces and areas for both relaxing and for entertainment. As fans of Disney details, we loved wandering the ship and finding cool things everywhere we went!

we have this same sign hanging in our kitchen! |
One of the spots we were most looking forward to was the Haunted Mansion Parlor and it did not disaapoint!

I tried to capture the hitch-hiking ghosts that were projected in the mirror above the bar, and ended up making the cast member look like a ghost |
The specialty ice cream shop is Jumbeaux's Sweets, which is themed after Zootopia, and it was adorable!
The Jade Cricket Cafe is a coffee shop, themed after Mulan!
Another coffee shop is the Hei Hei Cafe and it's themed after Moana!
Our favorite coffee place is Cove Cafe because it's a quiet spot to relax and it's in the adults-only area of the ship!
The Periscope Pub has a very cool ceiling that projects silhouettes of sea creatures, so you feel like you're underwater with sharks and rays above you!
One of the best-themed lounges is the Scat Cat Lounge with references to The Aristocats that included trumpet door handles and paw prints on the piano!

my drink was called "Grape Jam" and it was made with peanut butter whiskey and grape jam and the garnish was half of a PB&J uncrustable! |
The main lounge is Skipper Society, where they had trivia and live music, and it's themed after Jungle Cruise!
One of the theaters, Sarabi, had a fun Encanto show! We also saw a comedian and a magician perform there, and both were very entertaining!
In addition to the pools, there's a Kids' Splash Area themed after Toy Story and it is super cute!
The outside deck areas on the ship are great, particularly during the shows and sit-down dinner times because they are sparsely populated!

one of our favorite things to do was sit out on the empty decks at night, enjoying the breeze and the sounds of the ocean |
I love all of the art around the ship and despite all of these pics, there was so much more art that I didn't take photos of!
In terms of food, which I know is a big draw for people, we actually only ate in the restaurants on two of the seven nights - and frankly, we regret one of those! We are not fancy, and a long, drawn out, 90-120 minute dinner is just not our thing. There are three restaurants - 1923, Worlds of Marvel, and Plaza de Coco. Since we ate at 1923 when we were on the Wish in 2022 (and we didn't love it), we didn't bother with dinner there (although we did go there for breakfast one morning). We had skipped the Marvel restaurant on the Wish, so we decided to try it this time, and we will not be making that mistake again. We aren't really Marvel fans and let's just say we are clearly not the target audience for the "show" during dinner! The Coco restaurant, however, was absolutely spectacular! The food was delicious, but it was really the restaurant itself and the live music that we loved! On the nights we didn't go to the restaurants, we either ordered room service, which is included in the cost of the cruise and NOT an additional charge, or ate at the quick-service places or lounges. There is no shortage of food on a cruise!

we got seated in the Up section when we went to 1923 for breakfast, which was perfect! |

pretty much my standard breakfast every day - fruit and Mickey waffles (and yes, I was able to get the coveted churro Mickey waffles on the last full day of the cruise!) |

one of the best perks of Disney Cruises is unlimited Mickey Bars! |
The Kids' Clubs have various "open house" hours when anyone can visit, but we found them to be fairly similar to the ones on the Wish, so I didn't take too many pics!
One of the ports was Tortola, the largest of the British Virgin Islands, but we opted to stay on the ship that day. The island certainly looks beautiful!
The next day, the port was St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and we did get off the ship because we had booked a private tour over on of the other islands, St. John! We are huge lovers of the National Parks are are slowly trying to make our way to all 63 of them (we're about halfway through the list) and we wanted to visit USVI NP! We took a ferry between the islands and met our tour guide on St. John, who drove us all around the island and shared stories and history with us. He was great, the island is breathtaking, and the National Park is incredible! Truly a wonderful day!

our tour guide tried to lure a tarantula out of its hole so we could see one up close, but I'm happy to report he was not successful |

the ferry was such an easy way to get between the islands! |
Pirate Night is a big deal on Disney Cruises - some people go all out with costumes and makeup and everything! What we like best about it is the fireworks that are launched from the ship! We went up to the 13th deck (nowhere near the actual Pirate Deck Party!) to watch the fireworks and as always, they were awesome!
The last full day of the cruise was spent at Castaway Cay, which we always love not only because it's beautiful, but because there's an adults-only beach that is quiet and serene. We spent most of our time there, but then went over to the family beach to do some snorkeling before heading back to the ship around 4:15. The weather was absolutely perfect and it was a fantastic way to end the cruise!
We saw two Broadway-style shows on the ship. The first was Beauty and the Beast, which was fantastic; the original Broadway production of BatB is probably my favorite show of all-time, while this version was based on the live-action movie, but the production was really amazing! The second was the "flagship" show for the Treasure, The Tale of Moana, which had some of extremely impressive effects and truly fabulous performances. Before we saw the Moana show, we had run into someone at the elevators who was wearing a Maple Leafs hat, so I asked him if he was from Toronto. He told us that he wasn't, but that Toronto was where all of the "rehearsals" had taken place. We followed up by asking him if he was a performer on the ship, which he was, and he told us he was in the Moana show. When we asked what part he was playing, he unzipped his hoodie to reveal part of his costume, which was a tan-colored shirt covered in tattoo designs. Turns out, he was playing the role of Maui! Not only was he a kind and friendly person, but when we saw him in the show later that night, we were blown away by how talented he was!
One final random thing to share was that my doctor was on the same cruise! In spring of 2024, we were making small talk at my appointment and I mentioned I had booked this cruise because she is also a big Disney fan and we always talk about our upcoming trips. She shared that she, too, had booked a cruise for this April, and lo and behold, it was the same one! I saw her when we were boarding the ship, and then again one other day, but beyond that, we didn't run into each, which speaks to the size of the ship and the variety of activities available. I love her, so it was kind of cool we were on the same cruise!
As we've done for the last few cruises, we opted to walk off the ship with our luggage after docking back at Port Canaveral on Saturday morning. We were in the car at 7:45 am, but unfortunately encountered tons of traffic pretty much the whole way home, which made for a very long day! Despite the long trek home, it was an amazing week!

The final countdown to summer break has begun!
