Life Lately July/August 2025

As is always the case, summer flew by! Overall there's not much to report about July or August beyond our trips and the school year starting, but I do have lots of cute pics of Avalanche, along with some other pics mixed in!

met my aunt and uncle for breakfast,
which then turned into lunch...
so wonderful to spend the day with them
and catch up!

you can just tell how pleased he was that
I put the blanket on him LOL

possibly the best purchase
i've ever made on ebay!

we bought an air mattress for the tent
our niece and nephew play in
when they come to our house and
Avalanche decided to curl up on it
as we were inflating it for the first time

seemed pretty content!

my best friend and I taught fifth grade together
and now we're both instructional coaches;
we did a presentation together for new incoming
fifth grade teachers in our school division!

C booked this flight for us next summer
and I'm already super excited!

first day of school gift from C!

the Sorting Hat donut sorted me into Gryffindor
#nothankyou  #hufflepuffforlife

he loves to soak up the sun

my almost-18-year-old car passed
its state inspection!

we went to see Sesame Street: The Musical
at the Kennedy Center and I
convinced C to wear matching shirts

it was such a cute show!

Summer 2025 will live long in our memories and you better believe the countdown to Summer 2026 is on!
