Despite the relatively low number of pictures to prove it, we had a great Labor Day weekend at WDW! I had both Friday and Monday off, so we flew down to Orlando on Thursday evening and came home on Sunday night. This meant we had Monday at home, which was so nice, because we almost always come home rather late (or take a red-eye flight - see previous post!) and then immediately have to go to work early the next morning!
Since it was a holiday weekend in August, the parks were crowded and it was hot and humid. No surprise there! We stayed at Beach Club, which is an incredibly special resort to us, as it's where we stayed when we got married (AND it has the best pool on property as far as we're concerned!), and we did make it to all four parks and Disney Springs, which is a pretty rare occurrence for us on a 72-hour trip!
One of the most awesome parts of the weekend was that one of my best friends was there at the same time and we hung out on Friday at Epcot and also went to The Cake Bake Shop for lunch and Beaches and Cream for dinner together! It was our fifth time being at WDW together - twice, we traveled there together, but for the other three times, it's just been happy coincidences!
