30 in 30: Day 26

It was a LONG day in the car! Fourteen hours of driving (including stops), but according to the clock, it was sixteen hours because we experienced two time zone changes! First we were in MST, then we drove into MDT, and finally, CDT!

Do you see that we drove 887 miles today? Insanity! Absolutely the longest driving day of the trip!

I don’t have many pics from today. The scenery was fine, but after all of the pics from the car yesterday, I just didn’t take many today!

We made two touristy stops today. One was in Albuquerque because we wanted to find a place featured in Breaking Bad, which is one of our all-time favorite shows! Also, Dachshunds!

I loved Jesse Pinkman so much!

The second was Cadillac Ranch In Amarillo. I guess it’s kind of an art installation? It was odd. People take their own spray paint and paint names and messages on the cars. And on the road. And because humans are awful, the plants. Frankly, we both would have been more than fine had we not stopped there!

I was so mad when I saw this!

We were both relieved to finally get to the hotel after all that time in the car!
