50 States in 2021: 18-20

We started the day in Illinois and are ending it in North Dakota! We covered a lot of miles today and passed through Wisconsin and Minnesota on our way here.

Had the MLB schedule worked out, we would have stopped for a night in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area because the Minnesota Twins have a new stadium we have yet to visit. Since the team wasn't in town this weekend, we'll have to come back to Minnesota in the next year or two to get Target Field off our list!

Our 2021 state count is now up to 20!

We had to double back in order
to get this pic because the sign was
so far off the side of the highway;
thankfully there was a rest area
with a path to the sign!

It was so windy when we stopped
for this pic that not only did the
number card almost blow away, but my
phone was wobbling back and
forth because I was holding it in
one hand and most of the attempts were
super blurry as a result!

The first North Dakota sign was
over the center lane of the highway and
I was dreading having to try to take it
through the moonroof and a distance
again (NJ and OH), but we went to the
tourism center and this sign was there!
