50 States in 2021: 15-17

Because Cincinnati is so close to Kentucky and because the state lines are sometimes strange, these were the states we drove through, in order, today: Ohio - Kentucky - Indiana - Ohio - Indiana - Michigan - Indiana - Illinois. We were in Indiana three separate times today! So crazy!

Of those, three were new to our 2021 checklist, so our count now stands at 17 states visited in 2021!

In Indiana, we had a quick stop at a rainbow bridge C found; in Michigan, it was pretty much an in-and-out situation (remember, our criteria for checking a state off our list is that we both have to be in the state and take a photo of a welcome sign with a number card - no rules about eating a meal or spending the night or anything like that!); and Illinois was the latter part of the day and we made several stops for food and sights!

We lived in Illinois from 1999-2001 and we miss Chicago so much! It was great to visit a few of our favorite places before carrying on with our road trip!
