Asia July 2026: Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel

We took a car from the Conrad Hong Kong over to the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel and when we arrived, our room was ready even though we checked in a little early. I love when that happens!

Our room was beautiful, with a balcony and a lovely view of the pool, the South China Sea, and picturesque islands in the distance! The hotel itself was fantastic; the exterior reminds us of the Grand Floridian and thanks to the less-than-wonderful weather, we did spend a good chunk of time relaxing and wandering around! When the weather WAS cooperating, it was only about a fifteen-minute walk from our room to the park, which was incredibly convenient.

We also visited the other two Disney hotels - Explorers Lodge and Hollywood Hotel - both of which are very nice, too! You can easily walk between the three hotels, which we recommend...the buses that run between the hotels and the park are ridiculously inefficient. Given that the hotels and the park are so close together, there is really no reason to ever subject yourself to the frustration of the bus situation!

at least the bus was cute, with
Slinky's spring stretched across the back

C and I have a running joke about me thinking I'm Snow White whenever I get around wild animals because many years ago, a bird flew into our house and while C was trying to figure out how to shoo it back outside, I was talking and whistling to the bird, which led C to declare, "You're not Snow White," as I provided no assistance to his evacuation efforts. LOL!

So imagine how pleased I was that we had this visitor to our balcony multiple times - I was rather insufferable with my repeated comments of, "Maybe I AM Snow White!" Not sure what type of bird this is, but I was happy to have his company!

The next post will be the pictures from Hong Kong Disneyland!

Happy Tails to you!
