Asia July 2026: Tokyo DisneySea

Tokyo DisneySea is very unique and has a completely different vibe to it than any of the other Disney Parks we've visited so far! We spent Sunday and part of Monday exploring the park, particularly the Fantasy Springs area, which is a fairly recent addition and new to us since our last visit in 2017. We had the same "special attraction tickets" for Tokyo DisneySea on Sunday that we'd had for Tokyo Disneyland on Saturday, so we were able to walk onto the attractions with little to no wait. We were once again very grateful to have paid for this option as part of our package because the park was pretty crowded and wait times were high.

A familiar attraction was "Soaring: Fantasy Flight," which is the same as "Soarin' Around the World" in the American parks, with one distinct difference...one of the final scenes feature Tokyo Tower instead of the Eiffel Tower! A new attraction was "Peter Pan's Never Land Adventure" and as a long time fan of Peter Pan attractions (my favorite attraction growing up was always Peter Pan's Flight), I was blown away by how amazing this attraction is! When we were getting off, C took one look at my face and asked why I was crying, but it was because I was so emotionally overwhelmed and I could not contain the tears of joy!

We had lunch at another super cute spot...The Snuggly Duckling! As you will be able to see from the many photos below, not only is the theming impeccable, but I was completely obsessed. If you are a fellow fan of Tangled, I hope you enjoy all of the details as much as I did!

the park is currently celebrating its
25th anniversary

if there's something with Slinky on it,
I'm going to take a picture of it!

The final thing to share is about the popcorn. If you know me, you know I love popcorn! If forced to name my favorite food, it would be a pretty close call between pizza and popcorn. Movie theater popcorn, microwave popcorn, freshly popped popcorn, bagged popcorn...I don't care! I love popcorn! And Disney popcorn is one of my favorites! It was one of our checklist items when we went to WDW every month for the 11 months of the 2023-2024 school year!

Tokyo Disney Resort is known for its variety of popcorn flavors and we made it our mission to try as many of the available flavors as possible (the only one we didn't try was garlic shrimp popcorn bc we're vegetarians)! And the price is only $2.49 USD per box - significantly less expensive than the American parks!

in addition to the popcorn stands,
there's also a popcorn shop in Tokyo Disneyland
so we tried two of the flavors from there
