The Shanghai Disneyland Hotel is stunning and we absolutely loved it! It was less than a 20 minute walk from the park to our hotel room door, although there are also bus and ferry transportation options to the park and we did take the bus a few times when the weather was crazy because of Typhoon Bavi, which about 100 miles southwest of Shanghai Disneyland. We dealt with some rain, although luckily not until late Saturday evening so it didn't really impact us since we were heading back to the hotel at the end of the night anyway, but it was incredibly windy!

it was a character meal, but instead of the characters coming around to the tables, guests are assigned times to interact with and take photos of the characters

I spotted Pluto down in the lobby and no one was interacting with him - he was just wandering around alone smelling the flowers

you may notice on the elevator panels that the 4th floor is "missing" - the number 4 is considered very unlucky and treated in the same manner as how 13 is treated in America!
