Lovely Lyrics: Try Everything

Even though I'd seen Zootopia twice, my mom hadn't seen it yet, so she and I went together yesterday.  It is a super cute movie, and I love the two main characters.  To be fair, I am a little bit obsessed with it right now, which might be obvious based on the fact that I not only have the small tsum tsums of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, but also the large tsum tsums.  I keep the latter on my desk in my classroom (see below), and I've used the smaller pair to take fun photos (see above).

I hadn't realized that I haven't written a "Lovely Lyrics" post since last July; what made me think about it was hearing the theme song from Zootopia yesterday.  It is catchy and upbeat, and its message is awesome.

It seemed particularly appropriate to write about this song after seeing the movie with my mom, because the message is pretty much what she's been saying to me my entire life.  I am well aware of how incredibly lucky I am that to this day, she continues to encourage me and support every crazy idea I have.

Gosh, I love my mom.  So, so much.  <3
