30 in 30: Day 30

You know when you’re riding a roller coaster and you face anticipation and big hills and corkscrews and acceleration and excitement?

And then there’s that last stretch where it’s flat and boring and you’re just slowly rolling into the station?

That’s where we are right now.

You’re happy to have ridden, but also sad the fun is coming to an end.

The only good thing is knowing when you disembark, you’ll be reunited with your best friend who wasn’t tall enough to go on the ride but instead sat and patiently waited for you to return.

30 in 30: Day 29

We made it to our final hotel for the trip! We drove from Birmingham to Atlanta today, and did a few things in Atlanta before the baseball game this evening!

I was excited when we got into Georgia because after four weeks, we were finally back in the eastern time zone! I never reset my watch because I wanted to keep it on "Ginny Time" and I was happy to finally be back in the same time zone today! There's no number card pic today because Georgia was actually the second state we were in this year, so I already took that pic back on January 1!

When we got to Atlanta, we went to the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park, then found a cool rainbow crosswalk, and finally spent the rest of the afternoon at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. It was a pretty awesome day!
