30 in 30: Day 18

It's July 19. We haven't seen Ginny since July 1 and we are missing her something awful! My mom has been sending me pics while we've been away, and two of them were of her sleeping next to my plant. How cute is this dog?!?

I just cannot with her!

I don't have too much to share from today. We had breakfast at a Black Bear Diner, which has such great food, and then we found a laundromat to wash our clothes for the rest of the trip. This was the nicest, cleanest, most high tech laundromat I've ever seen, and the staff was so kind and helpful! If only all laundromats were this fabulous!

We started our drive from Washington to Oregon, making a stop at a strange/interesting spot: the world's narrowest bridge. Specifically, it's a squirrel bridge! Yep, a bridge built in 1963 after politicians found there to be too many squirrels being hit by cars in the busy downtown area. It's 60 feet long and made to look like a suspension bridge! It was taken down for repairs in 1983 and when it was rededicated, Chip & Dale and Mickey Mouse were in attendance all the way from Disneyland! Crazy!

We had another destination on our agenda, and it was only open until 6:00 pm, but we made it with about 45 minutes to spare! Tillamook Creamery! We love Tillamook cheese and yogurt, but it's really all about the ice cream! Beyond delish!

After Tillamook, we still had several hours of driving to get to our hotel, and as we got closer, we started looking for somewhere to grab some dinner. Thanks to google maps, we found a Killer Burger, where we'd eaten once before, albeit at the Portland location. It was a bit of a race against the clock to get there before they closed, but we just made it and were able to get a takeout order. We had a late car picnic and the veggie burgers were just as amazing as we'd remembered!

Peanut Butter & Pickles
Don't judge it until you try it!
It is AMAZING!

Tomorrow is a very big day, as we'll be checking an item off our bucket list!

Happy Tails to you!
