30 in 30: Day 7

It is no secret that I love the movie Up.

When C was planning this trip, he made sure we'd have the chance to go to the real Up house and it was one of the things I'd been most looking forward to! It was so fabulous! We might return someday to take some photos inside, but this is something you have to book and pay for because a regular family actually resides in the house!

the most magical house ever!

of course we brought our
Rainbow Dachshund
on this trip!

We have Carl and Ellie chairs in our living room that my mom had made for us several years ago and I love them! Honestly one of the greatest gifts we've ever received!

the two signs are actually our
aisle runner and are hung up in our bedroom,
but this was the only pic of our chairs
I could quickly find

After an amazing breakfast, we had several places we wanted to stop in Salt Lake City, but it seemed like the entire city was under construction and the sightseeing was pretty much a complete bust!

We drove into Idaho and the scenery grew more beautiful as the day went on! We stopped for lunch at a Black Bear Diner before continuing on to Wyoming. The traffic was surprisingly crazy as we got into Jackson, but once we got checked into the hotel, we discovered it had free laundry services for guests. Normally, I would not be so excited about laundry, but obviously this is a lengthy trip, and we did not pack 30+ days worth of clothing! We had planned to find a laundromat in the next couple of days, but now we won't need to search for one! Yay! After getting the laundry done, we wandered around the town and stopped for dinner at a place called Liberty Burger. They offer both veggie burgers and Impossible burgers, and the food was delicious!

super yum pancakes!

back in Wyoming!

this is an interesting little town

Happy Tails to you!
