It's Like America, But South! Day 15

We went to Ciudad Mitad del Mundo (Middle of the World City), which is a monument to mark the location of the Equator - which is where Ecuador got its name! It was a very cool place and neat to think we were standing on the Equator, leading us to also reminisce about going to the Arctic Circle two summers ago!

It was about a 45-minutes drive from our hotel to the monument and we had the best uber driver! Not only did he drive us there, he dropped us off, then parked the car and waited out front for us so he could drive us back! He also gave us some info out staying safe in the city and was just so kind!

After we got back from the monument, we spent the afternoon wandering around and we stopped at a coffee shop called Sweet & Coffee, which is a chain that's considered the Starbucks of Ecuador (there are no Starbucks locations here!). The drinks were great and the employees were lovely!

What a great day! Tomorrow should be fun, too!
