Land of the Rising Sun: Day 9

Saturday, April 15

A glorious morning in Tokyo!

We spent the day being tourists in Tokyo and it was both fun and exhausting.  According to the health data on my phone, we walked 12.3 miles, took 29,373 steps, and climbed 38 flights of stairs! And that's just today!

We visited the second Hachiko statue, the Imperial Palace Gardens, the Tokyo International Forum, and the Origami Museum.  What a full day!  After a rest back at our hotel, we went out for dinner and then visited the Senso-ji Temple at night.

It was a great day of sightseeing!!!
