Asian Adventure 2020: Day 13

We went back to Gardens by the Bay to visit the Supertree Grove and I'm at a loss for words to describe how awesome it was! We went up to the observatory of the tallest structure and also walked along the skyway, which allowed for some amazing views of Singapore. So much green! I'm highly impressed with how they've married modern life with nature!

We also wandered around the city for a few hours and marveled at the architecture and cleanliness!

We stopped at Long Bar in Raffles Hotel because that is where the original Singapore Sling was created! The bar was a very cool place to hang out, with jazz music playing and a relaxed vibe. On the very rare occasion that my mom enjoys a cocktail, the Singapore Sling is her favorite, so we had to order two and toast to her and all that she does for us!

After taking a break at our hotel to escape the oppressive heat and humidity, we returned to Gardens by the Bay and found a spot to have a picnic dinner and watch the nighttime show in the supertrees. We also watched the changing colored lights of the floating orbs and they were pretty mesmerizing. What a fun and beautiful evening!

Here are a few random pics from the day...the third day of riding the MRT trains, and each one is just as spotless as the last!

When we were at the top of the observatory, it was super windy and we suffered countless failed attempts at getting a selfie up there!

I finally gave up and figured this was the best individual one I was getting as I accepted defeat at the hands of that ridiculous wind!

Happy Tails to you!
