Sunflowers

I'd seen some recent photos on Instagram of a wildlife area about an hour from our house that had some beautiful sunflower fields. Despite the cloudy skies, we decided to go this morning and were excited about the temperature being in the low 70s.

As you'll see from the pictures, we probably should have gone two weeks ago because the sunflowers were clearly in the twilight of their lives. Oh, well! Now we know for next year to go earlier in the season!

We still had a very nice morning, and on the upside, the place was deserted and Ginny was able to walk around without flinching and hiding behind us at the sight of another human!

JUST a little droopy!

Ginny was pretty interested
in the sunflowers that were
on the ground

She turned around
every few steps to keep
an eye on me!

Happy Tails to you!
