“In a world that is becoming increasingly virtual,
the parks remain places of visceral beauty.
Places where we can remember
that we are but a small part
of the life on this planet,
and that it is a truly wonderful planet
and the only one we've got.”

It's Travel Tuesday and I'm sharing our Top Ten National Parks. We've been to 33 so far, which is just over half, so it's entirely possible this list will look different in the future. Actually, not only possible, but probable, because there are a few we’d like to visit that look absolutely phenomenal! But of the 33 we’ve visited, these are our top ten!
As with our Top Ten NHL Arenas, there is a clear number one (and it should surprise no one because I've written about this magical place in other posts HERE and HERE!), but beyond that, they are listed in no particular order!
The criteria we used as we came up with the list ran the gamut from beautiful scenery and interesting features to simply how much we enjoyed our time there and how fondly we recall each park. Obviously this is not a scientific ranking! We know we are biased and these are our subjective choices, but if I may be so bold, trust us! If you are looking for an amazing National Park experience, you can't go wrong with any of these!

C kindly did a search through our countless travel photos and found a pic from eight of our top ten parks. Had I thought of the topic sooner and given him more notice, we might have been able to find one from each of our selections, but these will have to do! My apologies to Mount Rainier NP and Sequoia NP!
